With interests flocking around Europe for the red hot Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhenn has finally agreed a new deal with Italian side Napoli.

Osimhen has was reluctant to sign a new deal as his demands were not met initially and that sparked up offers from different clubs arpound Europe and beyond, with Al Hilal almost snatching him few days ago on a €200 million deal.

Osimhen will sign a new three-year deal that includes a €150 million (£129m/$164m) release clause, but it will kick in at the end of the new season. The deal sees him earn an excess of €10 million per year, a huge increase from his current €3 million a year deal.

After firing Napoli to the title last season with 26 goals, Osimhen is worshipped like a god in Naples. If the club are willing to make him their highest earner, then why wouldn’t he stay? Under new manager Rudi Garcia he’ll look to help Napoli defend their Scudetto and take the next step in the Champions League.
