Victor Osimhen’s future remains uncertain as Napoli and the Super Eagles striker have yet to agree on his next club. Both parties concur that Osimhen can leave if their transfer demands are met, but no club has matched the €130 million release clause in his contract.

Top European clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, and PSG have shown interest, but none are willing to meet Napoli’s valuation. PSG came close with an offer of €200 million for both Osimhen and Georgian playmaker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. However, Napoli’s new manager, Antonio Conte, has declared Kvaratskhelia untouchable.

The situation is further complicated by Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, which is ready to meet Napoli’s financial demands for Osimhen. Napoli prefers this deal, but Osimhen is keen to stay in Europe and play Champions League football, which Napoli cannot offer after finishing outside the top four in Serie A last season.

Osimhen has rejoined Napoli for pre-season training amid these ongoing negotiations. Reports suggest that PSG remains his most likely destination if they sell France striker Randal Kolo Muani. Osimhen, who dreams of playing in the English Premier League, is also open to returning to Ligue 1 with PSG, where he previously excelled with Lille.

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
